If it won't connect to your bike - it might be because your bike gets confused from the Running Dynamics sent by the HR sensor. I have same issue with my Waterrower ANT+ receiver. Anything "more" than a plain vanilla ANT+ transmitter
Pair the running dynamics accessory with your watch again, according to the instructions. I have a Polar H10 I pair with my Fenix 6, Edge 530 or Edge 520. The H10 connects via ANT flawlessly to any of my devices automatically. The HRM as a Garmin device going to iPhone the link says you need the Connect app. I suspect this Garmin HRM is also ANT since it says fergedabout Bluetooth.
